Join with me as we create a fabulous school year at Gilbert Arts Academy!
How exciting to return from Monday’s conference and see all the books on the library shelves. It looks so nice in there. Thank you to all who helped to bring this to pass, especially Mr. and Mrs. Zenner, Mrs. Lyon and PTO officers. New paint and curtains, bookshelves and lots of books make one terrific room! Watch for details about our Grand Opening for the library.
At our weekly flag ceremony, both of our kindergarten classes received a 100 % weekly homework award. Excellent job to the students and their parents!! Both classes will have a dress down day on Monday, Sept 21. Mrs. Gagich’s class also received a 100 % award for attendance last week! Each student will get a prize for being double winners last week. Way to go , Kinders! Congratulations to Mrs. Gagich and Mrs. Grant also!
Our students will be making Christmas ornaments next week (Sept 21-25) to be sent to Washington, DC, to decorate the national tree. We can use some extra hands to assist our students in their creations. Contact the teachers or the office if you can assist.
Thank you to Rubios for hosting a GAA night and thanks to so many of you that came and joined us for supper or takeout! Rubios will be donating money to our PTO that will be used for various projects around school.
